On the 17th March 2010, Financial Leeds, Leeds Chamber Property Forum and RICS will come together to provide their members with an opportunity to debate the financing of current and future developments. The event will include the regional arm of the Homes & Communities Agency, as well as an experienced panel of speakers focusing on funding of property development.
Discussion points will include reference to the whispers and rumours of economic recovery, which the construction and property sector possibly has more reasons to doubt than most. Record public deficit, coupled with inflexibility in the credit market makes this still a very uncertain time. Added to a General Election around the corner and potential changes in national and public policy - Is this cause to look to 2010 as a year of new beginnings?
With an expert speaker panel who will engage in a wider discussion regarding issues that arise in financing development in the current climate, this event should provide interesting food for thought.
