Yorkshire Business Insider breakfast

Events
Fri 24 Sep - 08:00 to 10:00
Holiday Inn, Barnsley Road, Dodworth, Barnsley

All eyes are on next month’s Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR). Exactly how deep and far-reaching will the public sector cuts be? What services and schemes will be in the firing line? And just how ready is the private sector to step up to the plate and keep the wheels of the UK economy turning?

These questions will form the starting point for Yorkshire Insider’s latest breakfast debate which tackles head-on the biggest questions facing our economy right now.

A range of business leaders will be invited to debate just how ready the private sector is to create growth out of the recession. They will explore which sectors could be set to particularly benefit from more outsourcing opportunities as the public sector retreats, while also finding out what companies need to be doing right now to capitalise on a shrinking state. They will also explore whether the general business support climate for SMEs is one that encourages them to rise to the challenge.

The timings for the morning are as follows:

8am:               Meet and breakfast
8.30am:          Introductions
8.45-10am:     Panel debate
10am:             Coffee and networking

Demand for what is sure to be an extremely lively and topical debate is expected to be very high so please book your place early to avoid disappointment. Click here to download the form to complete and return to kelly.hancock@newsco.com
