Yorkshire IFA Forum

Connecting with IFAs

The Yorkshire IFA Forum (YIFAF) was launched on 20 November to raise the profile of the IFA profession and to encourage an increased number of graduates into the sector.  Bringing together IFA businesses across the Leeds city region and beyond, YIFAF provides a support and networking association which aims to help IFAs grow and succeed.

Part of a wider network of Financial Leeds members, YIFAF members have excellent opportunities for networking enabling them to share knowledge and experience as well as develop new business partners. Members share a common vision to enhance recognition of the profession and to gain a more powerful, independent voice on national issues. YIFAF partakes in lobbying for the sector to the national body, AIFA, and actively seeks to develop links with academic settings to ensure the availability of degree courses relevant to the profession.
 
YIFAF provides IFA members with the power to influence the future of the profession and to contribute to enhanced educational opportunities. Working alongside Bradford School of Management, YIFAF aims to lead the way in terms of education and training for IFAs, attracting more graduates into the profession via the new Financial Planning degree course.  The direct link with Bradford School of Management also provides access to students, undergraduates and MBA graduates who are seeking employment within the sector, thus facilitating efficient and cost effective recruitment.

Corporate membership of YIFAF is open to IFA businesses across the UK. As a member your business will automatically benefit from membership to Financial Leeds which supports the wider financial and professional services sector within the Leeds city region.  

Membership gives access to all Financial Leeds events and networking opportunities, together with resources, knowledge and research which is only available to member firms.
