It’s all happening this week....

Well the week has started off in London with TheCityUK team, I’m a guest at  TheCityUK Spring debate where the great and the good are discussing the latest financial services trends and the role it can play in the economic growth and recovery plan outlined last week. There’s a number of A list speakers from the sector and also input from the CBI and the Federation of Small Business - it’s important to ensure that regional issues are aired and here’s to further joint initiatives with City UK. A little nearer to home, we’re still awaiting Enterprise Zone news as further detail emerges from the Budget speech, some big announcements this week in terms of funding so hopefully the EZ detail will emerge too..... some of the team are attending the inaugural carbon accounting roundtable and my thanks go to Centre for Low Carbon Futures, Business in the Community and our members for their engagement in the process so far, but of course Thursday is our big day.......
All eyes this week on the Unfold property exhibition. At the last count all exhibition space had been sold out and 400 delegates had registered to attend. It’s likely to be the largest regional event of its kind, a showcase for Leeds City Region’s current and future locations for investment, relocation and development  www.unfoldleeds.com   ...... here’s to a successful week.
